DJ/Producer Jared Dietch
DJ/Producer Jared Dietch aka The Camel Rider has been spinning in New York City’s hottest clubs and internationally for over 15 years. With influences ranging from African and South American tribal rhythms to the rock anthems of his youth, Jared’s signature style has many influences but is always dramatic with a sexy vibe.
As a producer, Jared aka The Camel Rider has steadily been building steam since 2003 when “Twisted” [Subliminal Records] reached #5 on the UK Dance chart. In 2007 a rework of what is now considered a classic, “Twisted 2007” was released on Subliminal Sessions 11 and has become another club anthem.
Later in 2007, The Camel Rider's "Tiny Dancer Remix" [Universal Music Group] made its debut as the Essential New Tune on the BBC's Pete Tong show. It was heralded by Pete Tong as “an inspired moment in dance music that you can expect to hear on radio all day…” and you did. The Camel Riders "Tiny Dancer Remix" was played in heavy rotation on radio stations worldwide and on MTV.
Another BBC Radio 1 Pete Tong pick, The Camel Rider & Mark Alston’s, “Addicted featuring Mark Shine” [Wasted Youth Music] was featured on the Future Music Festival 08 CD and is an international radio favorite.
A club smash in 2008, The Camel Rider’s “Fall Down On Me” featuring SuSu Bobien picked up early by Eric Morillo for Subliminal Sessions 12, will be the first release on Jared’s own label, Camel Rider Records debuting October 15th with remixes by Mark Alston and DJ Angola.
The Camel Rider has enjoyed both radio and club success. DJ Times recently profiled “The Camel Rider’s Path to the Top” and with the launch of his record label, satellite radio show, podcasts and upcoming tracks with Chris Willis and Jeremy Carr, the path is clear.
